Centerpiece Ideas

Here are a few ideas if you are plan on using centerpieces at your wedding reception. Not only are these beautiful, but you can also have a drawing at the end of the night where your guests can win the centerpieces if you chose.

Prior to choosing what centerpiece you would like to use on your tables, contact whom ever is in charge of the reception hall where your reception will be held, some reception halls may not allow certain types of centerpieces. The reason is they may not want anything in the hall that might potentially be a fire hazard. Also make sure your centerpieces do not overtake the table top, which could leave very little room for the table settings and any favors that you may have.

You do not have to make all your centerpieces the same, you may want them to vary from table to table. You can vary the color and size, or use different types of vases or even candles set around the base or in the centerpieces. You may also place taller centerpieces off center so your not blocking the view around the table or of the bride and the groom. Make sure your centerpieces sit sturdy on the table, especially if you use candles, you don't need them tipping over.
